  • Lemonade Day

"Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand. Each year, in participating cities, youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship." (quoted from organization's website)

Understanding Economics Book Series by Usborne

(here is a series for purchase in one bundle, however these books are each available individually, we just wanted to show the selection)

These books are multifaceted and do overlap somewhat. They take a while to completely read with an elementary mind as the concepts are conversational and provoke a lot of questions. We recommend trying one and testing it out and moving on from there, but strongly encourage you to stick to it once you start a book. The teaching concepts are exceptional for young minds.
