There are 50 weeks in the packet with each US President, all 50 states and capitals, plus US territories, the first 50 elements of the Periodic Table and fun facts to keep each week exciting. Your kids will be eager to see each new Kaboom Chronicle of the week! Avoid the headaches of rote memorization and make learning engaging. The Kaboom Chronicle acts as a visual board for a few items that can be difficult to simply memorize. Take it a step further and practice writing the state and capital each day on dry erase pages, locate states on a globe, and take a deep dive if you like and research the element of the week further with a book, videos and or experiments. You can read a little about the President of the week if you like. End the week with a quiet coloring page on the state and capital of the week. Post a new Kaboom Chronicle each week for gentle learning all year long! There is no harm done if you skip a week, or can’t do all of these things. In our family we are mindful that our kids are learning at all times and having intriguing methods and family engagement helps a great deal! Decide a place to hang the sheet next to your child’s favorite learning area. Start the day with easy writing including the day’s date, the state and capital of the week and element of the week. The Daily Do pages pair with the information on the Kaboom Chronicle. You kids will feel autonomy when they are free to wake up and find these resources available to them to do on their own.
